How did you get started and what’s your favorite part of working in property management?

I started out as a leasing agent 13 years ago. After one month as a leasing agent I became a property manager of a 360 unit complex. The rest is history!

What’s one piece of advice you always give to property owners?

Invest back in the property. Make the necessary repairs and upgrades to maximize your return.

What’s your favorite thing about working and living in Waco?

It’s a growing town with a small town feel, coupled with great school districts for raising a family.

What’s a common misconception about property management, and how do you address it?

A common misconception is thinking that all property management companies are the same. This is not true. Some property management companies specialize in different areas such as HOAs or commercial buildings.

What do you think will be the biggest challenge for property owners in the next 5 years? How can they address it?

The unknown of the market and interest rates. Stay knowledgeable and up to date with what is going on in the market.

What do you find most rewarding about helping property owners and tenants?

I enjoy helping owners maximize their return on their rentals and enjoy helping tenants with any questions or concerns and ensuring they enjoy their home or apartment.
